Sironka Limited T/A Oaks and Corks (“Oaks & Corks”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the oaks.delivery website and the Oaks & Corks and Oaks Rider mobile applications (together, the “Service”).
This page informs users of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who uses our Service. The Personal Information we collect is used for providing and improving the Service, and we will not use or share it except as described here. The terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, unless otherwise defined.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
- Account and contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address, used to identify you, contact you, and deliver your orders.
- Order and transaction information — the items you order, delivery details, and payment information processed through our payment partners, used to fulfil and account for your orders.
- Location information — see “Location Information” below.
- Device and usage information — see “Log Data”, “Cookies” and “Analytics & Advertising” below.
Location Information
Customers. We collect the delivery address you provide and, where you choose to share it, your device location, in order to deliver your order and to show you live tracking of your delivery on a map.
Riders (delivery staff using the Oaks Rider app). While a rider is on shift, the Oaks Rider app collects the rider’s device precise (GPS) location continuously, including in the background — that is, when the app is closed or the screen is off. We use this location, and share it with our dispatch team, to assign the nearest available rider and keep deliveries moving, and we share it with the customer whose order is being delivered so they can track it on a live map. Rider location is collected only while the rider is on shift, and collection stops as soon as the rider goes off shift. Before any location is collected the rider is shown an in-app disclosure and must give consent; a rider can withdraw consent at any time by going off shift or by changing the location permission in their device settings.
Log Data
Whenever you visit our Service we collect information your browser sends to us (“Log Data”), which may include your IP address, browser version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information and improve our Service, including the analytics and advertising cookies described below. You can accept or refuse cookies through your browser settings; if you refuse them, some portions of the Service may not work.
Analytics & Advertising
We use the following third-party tools to understand how the Service is used and to measure and improve our marketing. These tools set cookies and may receive information about your visit and your device:
- Google Analytics 4 — to understand traffic and how customers move through the shop.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API — to measure the effectiveness of, and show you, relevant adverts on Meta platforms.
- Google Ads — to measure advertising performance and show relevant adverts, including remarketing.
To match your activity to an advert and measure conversions, we may share a hashed (irreversible) version of your email address and/or phone number, along with your IP address and device information, with Google and Meta. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as necessary to operate the Service, with: riders (your name, phone number, and delivery address, to complete your delivery); customers (who can see the live location of the rider delivering their order); payment processors (Safaricom M-Pesa, Pesapal, Kopo Kopo, and our banks); the Kenya Revenue Authority (sales and tax information, as required by law — eTIMS); analytics and advertising providers (as described above); service providers that host our systems, send SMS and push notifications, and provide mapping and geolocation; and legal and regulatory authorities where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Rider location data is retained only as long as operationally needed and is then deleted or aggregated. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at privacy@oaks.delivery, subject to any information we are legally required to retain.
Security
We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your Personal Information, but no method of transmission over the internet, or of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that we do not operate. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites, and we advise you to review their own privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service sells alcohol and is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page, so please review it periodically.
