Aurose Cotes De Provence Rose 75cl
Picture a pale salmon-pink rosé so cold it sweats on the glass, and one sip in you're chasing the next. Aurose is bone-dry, light on its feet, and tastes like someone squeezed grapefruit over wild strawberries. This is your Friday-evening, just-got-home, pour-before-you-even-sit-down bottle. Get it on ice, get the food going, and let us bring it to your door before the sun's all the way down.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

The nose is fresh and a little flirty: pink grapefruit and lemon zest, white flowers, then wild strawberry and redcurrant peeking through. On the palate it's crisp and dry, never sweet, with red berries, a hit of fresh peach, and a cool stony minerality that makes your mouth water for the next sip. It finishes clean and light, which is exactly why the bottle empties faster than you planned.

Where it's from

Aurose comes from Provence in the south of France, the spiritual home of pale dry rosé, where roughly four out of five bottles made are pink. The grapes grow on the hillsides around Mont Sainte-Victoire, where the altitude keeps the nights cool and the wine fresh. They're cool-harvested, gently pressed and cold-fermented to lock in that bright, clean character. Aurose's whole thing is traceability, so every bottle can be traced right back to where it grew.
