The Booch journey began in 2016 when founder Eoin Flinn brought a vibrant SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) back to Nairobi from Uganda. What started as small-batch brewing in a home kitchen quickly evolved into one of Kenya’s pioneer craft kombucha brands.

The tea is sweetened with regional sugarcane to nourish the living cultures during primary fermentation. During secondary anaerobic fermentation, fresh organic blueberries and fiery ginger are added. This natural process infuses rich flavour while creating a delicate, natural effervescence—no artificial carbonation or synthetic flavourings required.
