EPC Blanc Rosé 75cl is a modern Champagne rosé that combines finesse, freshness and expressive red-fruit character in one stylish bottle. Produced in collaboration with a winemakers’ group in Vertus Premier Cru, this cuvée reflects EPC’s contemporary approach to Champagne while staying rooted in terroir, traceability and traditional know-how. EPC describes it as a sensual, subtle and fruity rosé designed to be enjoyed day or night, as an apéritif, during a meal or even alongside dessert.

The blend is led by 80% Chardonnay with 20% Pinot Noir, a combination that gives the wine lift, elegance and brightness, while adding just enough red-fruit depth and structure. The grapes come from Vertus in the Côte des Blancs, a Premier Cru terroir dominated by chalk soils. That chalk-rich ground is important: it is what helps give this Champagne its precision, freshness and fine, graceful profile. EPC also notes that the wine is vinified in stainless steel tank with partial malolactic fermentation, preserving purity while softening the edges just enough for a rounded, pleasurable finish. The dosage is 6g/L, placing it in a balanced, fresh style rather than an overtly sweet one.

Tasting Notes

EPC Blanc Rosé offers a fresh and delicate profile with fine bubbles and clear red-fruit appeal. The producer highlights delicious notes of red fruits, especially raspberry, while the style remains subtle, refined and lively. Chardonnay brings freshness and finesse, while Pinot Noir adds a gentle berry character and depth. Expect a crisp, elegant palate with a clean, pleasurable finish.

Food Pairing

According to the producer, EPC Blanc Rosé pairs beautifully with salmon gravlax with pink berries and can also work surprisingly well with a warm yellow-fruit sabayon. That makes it a flexible rosé Champagne for starters, brunches, romantic dinners and light desserts.

Accolades

I did not find a clearly documented, product-specific medal or score for EPC Blanc Rosé on the producer’s official materials. What is documented is broader recognition for the EPC brand and its approach. EPC’s press page includes praise describing the house as having “a modern approach and an avant-garde spirit,” and Stéphane Baschiera, former President of Moët & Chandon, is quoted praising EPC’s closeness to vineyards and winegrowers. EPC was also featured among the “100 start-ups to invest in 2020.” These references support the brand’s growing reputation, even though they are not bottle-specific awards for this exact cuvée.
