Frontera Sprk Moscato 75cl
Exceptional★★★★★
Pop this when you want a glass that tastes like ripe peaches and good news. It's a gently sweet Chilean sparkler, soft bubbles, all juicy fruit and zero homework. Brilliant as the welcome drink while the nyama choma's still on the grill, or the thing you and a mate split at midnight because the night isn't done. Get it cold, get it open, you're sorted.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

Stick your nose in and it's fresh peach and ripe apricot, a little orange-blossom floral lift, even a whisper of honey. The sip is sweet and round but not cloying, with just enough zip of citrus acidity to keep it lively and stop it going syrupy. Fine, frothy bubbles, a clean fruity finish that hangs around. Easy to love, hard to overthink.

Where it's from

Frontera comes from Concha y Toro, Chile's biggest and best-known winery, the same house behind Casillero del Diablo. Frontera is their friendly, everyday range, built to be open-a-bottle-on-a-Tuesday wine rather than a special-occasion splurge. The Moscato grape (also called Muscat) is one of the oldest grapes going and naturally smells of grapes and flowers, which is exactly why this one is so aromatic and sweet.
