Gibson's Gin 1L
Exceptional★★★★★
You want a gin that just gets on with it. Gibson's is that gin. Big clean juniper, a twist of lemon, nothing trying to be clever. Pour it long over ice with a good tonic and you have got the easiest drink of the night sorted, whether that is a quiet one on the balcony or a full crew situation. It is a proper litre too, so you are not running dry by round two.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

Crack the cap and it is pine-fresh juniper first, the way a London Dry should be, with a bright lift of lemon zest behind it. Sip it and that juniper goes properly resinous and full, then dry coriander seed rolls in with a little warm cinnamon-bark tingle. The finish is gentle and warming and circles right back to juniper. No sweetness, no fuss. Honestly it tastes like more than you paid for it.

Where it is from

Gibson's is an English London Dry, distilled in the UK and built around just four botanicals: juniper berry, coriander, angelica and lemon zest. The grain spirit gets macerated with that little crew of berries, citrus and spice, then triple-distilled in pot stills, which is where the clean, classic character comes from. Fun side note: this very British gin is actually the best-selling gin in France. Quietly punching well above its price the whole time.
