Hill & Dale Sauvignon Blanc 2019 75cl
Pour this cold and you get a glassful of green apple, gooseberry and melon that wakes your mouth right up. It's bone dry, lively, and the kind of wine you open without overthinking. Friday after work, a slow Sunday on the balcony, or just because someone's coming over. Grab it, chill it, you're sorted.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

The nose is fresh and a little green in the best way. Think guava, sliced green apple, a whisper of nettle and sweet melon. Take a sip and there's a clean, almost stony freshness running through it (that's the minerality, the wet-pebble crispness) wrapped around melon, gooseberry and ripe apricot. It's dry, zippy and quaffable, with just enough soft complexity to keep your glass interesting. Nothing heavy, nothing sweet, just bright and easy to love.

Hill & Dale is the easygoing everyday range from the team behind Kleine Zalze, one of Stellenbosch's most respected estates. So you're getting proper Stellenbosch winemaking pedigree in a bottle that doesn't ask you to fuss. Cool ocean breezes off the Cape are exactly what give Sauvignon Blanc that crisp, green-edged freshness, and you can taste it here.
