Johnnie Walker Black Label 375ml
Pour this and the room calms down a notch. It's warm, smooth and a little smoky, the kind of Scotch that makes a quiet night feel like an occasion. Every drop in the bottle has been aged at least 12 years, so it tastes settled and grown-up without ever getting fussy. The 375ml is the smart move: a proper bottle for two or three pours, easy to slip into the night without committing to a full one. We'll have it at your door fast, any hour.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

First sniff is sweet and inviting. Vanilla, butterscotch and a bit of dried fruit, like sultanas and orange peel, with a soft wisp of smoke drifting underneath. The sip is where it earns its name: creamy toffee and honey roll across your tongue, then a gentle wood-smoke and warm spice (clove, a little pepper) curl in behind. It finishes long and a touch fruity, that signature Johnnie Walker smokiness lingering without ever turning ashy. Balanced, not aggressive. Easy to love even if smoky whisky usually scares you off.

Where it's from

Scotland, and the story starts with a grocer. John Walker ran a shop in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, back in the 1800s and started blending whiskies to get a consistent flavour his customers could trust. Black Label as we know it landed in 1909. What's in the glass today is pulled from the four corners of Scotland: Speyside, the Highlands, the Lowlands and a hit of Islay smoke, blended from a large stable of single malt and grain whiskies. That square bottle with the label cocked at an angle is a deliberate icon, instantly recognisable on any shelf in the world.
