Your tea isn't tea without it. Kabras is the plain white sugar that quietly runs a Kenyan kitchen, the spoonful in the morning chai, the cup that turns flour and butter into a cake. Fine, even crystals that dissolve the second they hit hot liquid, no fuss, no clumps. A 1kg pack that lasts, and when you're running low we'll get you another any hour.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

Clean, straightforward sweetness, the kind that lets everything else taste like itself. It's 100% refined white cane sugar with no additives and no preservatives, so there's no off note, no caramel tinge, nothing to fight your coffee or your frosting. The crystals are fine and uniform, which is exactly why they melt fast in a hot drink and cream smoothly into butter when you're baking.

Kabras is made by West Kenya Sugar Company in the country's western sugar belt, out around Kakamega. Properly local: Kenyan cane, Kenyan farmers, in pretty much every kitchen in the country.
