Rémy Martin has been making cognac in the Charente region of France since 1724, and they only use grapes from the two best crus, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. That's what "Fine Champagne" on the label means (nothing to do with bubbly). This VSOP blends roughly 55% Grande and 45% Petite Champagne, aged at least four years in French Limousin oak, with the cellar master marrying up to 400 different eaux-de-vie to get that signature roundness.
