About the Chita Whisky
A single grain whisky that has been aged in a combination of wine, sherry and bourbon casks from the Chita distillery. Very light on the palate with plenty of fruity and floral notes.
Nose: Crème brulee, cardamom, acacia honey, blossoming rose.
Palate: More green apple leading to a bright citrus note from pink grapefruit. Bitter herbs, toasted almonds and vanilla oak linger underneath.
Subtly sweet and spicy finish with a hint of vanilla, oak, white pepper, and ginger
Chita is the serenity of Japanese Whisky, from the inventive grain whisky distillery in Chita Peninsula dedicated to the pursuit of making diverse grain whisky. Launched in 2015, the Chita is matured in three different kinds of casks: American ex-bourbon barrels, Spanish Oak barrels and European Oak wine barrels. It has no age statement.
