Zonin Prosecco Cuvee 75cl-14%
Pop this and the room gets a little brighter. Zonin Prosecco is your easy yes: pale gold, a steady stream of fine bubbles, and a taste that's all green apple and ripe white peach with a soft almond whisper at the end. It's dry but fruity, the kind of fizz that works for a birthday toast, a Friday-night-made-it, or absolutely no reason at all. Get it cold, get it open, and let it do its thing.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

The nose is bright and floral, think orchard apple, a bit of pear, even a hint of spring blossom. First sip and you get crisp green apple and creamy white peach, with a clean citrus snap that keeps it lively rather than sweet. It finishes dry with that gentle almond note Glera is famous for, the signature of the grape. The bubbles are fine and persistent, soft on the tongue, not aggressive. Refreshing, fruity, and seriously moreish.

Where it's from

This comes from Zonin, one of Italy's biggest family-owned wineries, run by the Zonin family in the Veneto since 1821 (that's the number you'll see on their bottles). The grape is Glera, the native variety behind every real Prosecco, grown across the rolling hills of northeast Italy. It's made by the Charmat method, where the wine takes its sparkle in big pressurised steel tanks rather than bottle by bottle. That's exactly why Prosecco tastes so fresh and fruit-forward instead of bready like Champagne.
