Picture a wine the colour of a Nairobi sunset, ice-cold, doing all the talking on a warm evening. That's Amani Bay Dry Rosé. It smells like fresh strawberries, drinks juicy and fruity, then finishes clean and dry so it never turns sweet or sticky. Grab it for the balcony, the braai, or the moment a friend texts "what should I bring?" Order now and we'll have it chilled-and-knocking before the playlist runs out.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

Pour it and you get that gorgeous pale pink straight away. Nose is all ripe strawberry with a little plum behind it, the kind of fruit that smells like summer. First sip is properly juicy and full, more flavour than a wishy-washy rosé. Then the dry finish kicks in, crisp and clean, wiping the slate so you immediately want the next mouthful. Fruity but bone dry. That's the whole trick.

Where it's from

Amani Bay comes out of South Africa's Coastal Region, the famous Cape winelands where the vineyards catch cool ocean breezes off the Atlantic and False Bay. The Amani name sits on the slopes near Stellenbosch, ground tied to acclaimed winemaker Carmen Stevens, one of South Africa's pioneering Black women in wine. This rosé is built from Shiraz grapes pressed gently so they give colour and berry flavour without the heavy red-wine grip. Easygoing, sociable, made to be poured freely.
