Pour this cold and the day gets lighter. It's a pale, blushy Spanish rosé that tastes of fresh strawberries with just a whisper of sweetness, soft enough to sip on its own, food-friendly enough to ride alongside dinner. Nothing serious, nothing stuffy. Just an easy pink that does the job from the first glass to the last, whether it's a slow Sunday or a late one with the crew.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

Pale pink in the glass with a soft floral lift on the nose. The first sip is all fresh red fruit, think strawberry and a touch of red cherry, with a little citrus brightness keeping it lively. It's semi-dry, so there's a gentle hint of sweetness, but it doesn't go syrupy on you. Light and round, it finishes clean and leaves you reaching for the next pour.

Where it's from

This one comes from Spain, made by J. García Carrión, one of the country's biggest and oldest family wineries with roots going back to 1890. It's built from native Spanish red grapes pressed gently to pull out that pale pink colour and fresh fruit rather than heavy tannin. The whole point is approachable and lively, a rosé made to be enjoyed young and cold, not fussed over.
