Bumbu Rum is made of spices native to the Caribbean along with sugar cane from the islands as well as South America. The distillation takes place at the Bumbu Distillery in Barbados. Its recipe is based on the original used by the West Indian sailors in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Bumbu Rum is often loved for its chocolate, banana, vanilla, and fire flavor notes. It has a chestnut-gold appearance with notes of caramel, vanilla and a hint of oak on the nose. The palate is of chocolate, banana and notes of cinnamon throughout, leading to a smooth, sweet, and light finish.
Bumbu can be enjoyed on its own, with or without ice.[vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/UPfnlV-qbp4″ align=”center”]
