These are 100% Kenyan, made by Manjico Industries out of a purpose-built snack factory off the Nairobi-Nakuru road. The company is young (started in 2018) and family-run by founder Wasimkhan Manji, a genuine snack obsessive. Cheeky Treetz is their home-grown brand, and it carries a brilliant little motto: Tusherekee Pamoja, Swahili for "let's celebrate, together." Hard to argue with a crisp that comes with that energy.
