Pure Scotland. Swing was dreamed up in 1932 by Sir Alexander Walker, grandson of the original John Walker, back in the golden age of ocean-liner travel. The story goes that bartenders on those transatlantic crossings kept losing bottles to the rolling seas, so he designed a round-bottomed bottle that swings with the ship's motion instead of toppling over. Inside it's a rich blend built on a big helping of Speyside malts, rounded out with Highland and a touch of Islay, with some sherry-cask whisky for that sweet, mellow depth.
