Kanonkop is a wine with a refreshing deep ruby, red colour. It penetrates the nose with aromatic flavours of ripe raspberries, blackcurrant and mocca. On the palate, it rests beautifully with bursting flavours of dark chocolate and blackberry fruit. Kanonkop Kadette has elegant structures with a good length and dry finish.

Climate Long, cold and wet winter with a slow steady ripening period
Vinification Fermentation takes place in open concrete fermenters @ 28 degrees Celsius. Cap is punched manually after every 2 hours and then the juice drawn off the skins after 3 days.
