This is properly local. Kenyan Originals started in 2018 when founder Alexandra Chappatte got tired of a bar scene stuck between cheap mass-market drinks and pricey imports, with nothing good made at home. So she made it. The limes come from Garissa, the apples are Kenyan, and everything's pressed, fermented, blended and canned in-house at their Nairobi facility. No additives, no preservatives. They were also the first alcohol maker in Africa to land B-Corp certification, which is a fancy way of saying they actually try to do right by people and the planet.
