Sauvignon Blanc is the most widely planted cultivar on the Estate and is also one of the most challenging cultivars to work with for me. We harvest the grapes at three different stages of ripening to capture the various flavour profiles ranging from green to a fuller, riper tropical style, before final blending in the cellar to produce a well-balanced wine vintage after vintage.
Rietvallei Sauvignon Blanc 75cl
Lovely vibrant fruit with expressive passion fruit and grapefruit, freshly cut grass, a touch of capsicum and a crisp finish. Pair this wine with any seafood, especially just harvested oysters spiked with lemon and chilli.
