Robertson Shiraz 3l
You know that wine that just gets the meat? This is it. Robertson Winery Shiraz is dark, peppery and full of bramble fruit, the kind of red that makes a Friday grill feel like an occasion. And because it lives in a 3L box, you're not opening a bottle and praying it lasts. Pour a glass, seal the tap, come back tomorrow. It'll still be good. That's roughly four bottles of South African Shiraz on standby, and we'll bring it to your door whenever the craving lands.
Tasting note · by The Oaks Cellar

First thing you get is black pepper and warm baking spice, cinnamon and clove, with a thin curl of smoke behind it. Then the fruit rolls in: brambly red berries, dark mulberry, the jammy stuff. A bit of vanilla rounds it off, which comes from its time resting in oak, so nothing tastes raw or sharp. It's dry, it's full-bodied, and it leaves a savoury, peppery warmth that practically begs for something off the grill.

Where it's from

This comes from Robertson Winery, deep in the Robertson Valley along South Africa's Breede River, about 160km east of Cape Town. Locals call it the valley of wine and roses, which tells you the place takes its growing seriously. The lime-rich soils there are a big reason the reds come out so full and savoury. The Shiraz gets a stretch in oak, a mix of French and American barrels, which is where that smooth vanilla edge sneaks in.
