Here's the deal with Jim Beam. It's bourbon that doesn't make you work for it. One sip and the good stuff shows up straight away: vanilla, caramel, a little toasted oak and that gentle corn sweetness bourbon does so well. Four years in charred barrels gets it there, and the result is smooth enough to sip slow but built to mix like a champ. It's one of the most dependable names on the bourbon whisky shelf, and there's a reason for that.
Want the workhorse? The Jim Beam 750ml at KSh2369 is the white-label classic that handles everything. Feeding a crowd or just stocking up? Size up to the Jim Beam 1L for KSh2759. Solo night with a film? The Jim Beam 350ml at KSh1399 is a tidy little pour with nothing left to babysit.
Jim Beam Black sits longer in the barrel, so it lands deeper and richer with more oak and spice on it. Grab the 700ml at KSh3039 or go big with the Black 1L at KSh4089. Feeling fancy? The Double Oak gets a second spell in a fresh charred barrel, which doubles down on the toasty, caramel-deep side of things. Worth the KSh4799 when you want to slow down and actually taste it.
This is where Jim gets fun. Jim Beam Honey is bourbon wrapped in proper warm honey, soft and sweet and dangerously good over ice (KSh2799). Jim Beam Apple brings a crisp green-apple snap that was made for a tall glass with soda (KSh3349), and there's a bigger Apple Liqueur 1L at KSh3129 if it's your regular. Cherry people, meet Red Stag, black-cherry-infused bourbon that drinks like dessert for KSh2999. The sweeter pours all live on the whisky liqueur shelf if you want to browse them together.
How to drink it? Plain Jim loves a splash of cola or ginger ale, ice if you've got it. The Black and Double Oak earn a neat pour or one big rock so the oak can talk. And any of them go down great next to a plate of nyama choma when the Nairobi night's running long. (Quick flex for the bar: it's been made by the same Kentucky family for generations, so they've had plenty of practice.)
Bottle empty and the night not done? We deliver fast across Nairobi at any hour, so the next round is never far off.
