Alamos Chardonnay is a medium-bodied white wine from Argentina. It has light tropical fruit aromas with ripe citrus and floral notes. The mouthfeel is full of concentrated apple and pear fruit flavours with tones of vanilla and sweet spice from oak aging.
With the Argentine’s elevated vineyards, the Chardonnay vines experience intense sunlight days and very cool and crisp nights, a sizeable temperature shift that preserves the fruit’s incredible acidity while still giving us full, ripe flavors. The result is a lush, complex, food-friendly Chardonnay that features tropical and citrus notes and a refreshing palate, with added weight from partial malolactic fermentation and subtle oak aging. Its balance of richness and acidity is one of Argentina’s unique hallmarks, a product of our adventurous winegrowing locations.
