Auchentoshan sits on the edge of Glasgow, in Dalmuir, one of the last working Lowland distilleries in Scotland. Their trick is triple distillation, where most Scotch goes through the still twice. The Three Wood then takes that gentle base and rests it through three different casks: ex-bourbon American oak first, then Oloroso sherry, then a final stint in rich Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
