Provence M De Minuty 75cl
You know that pale, barely-there pink in the iconic curvy bottle? That's this. Pour it cold and it goes down like a Provence sunset: dry, bright, peach and citrus, zero sweetness. It's the one you grab when you want the table to look a little fancier without trying too hard. Friday rooftop, a long lunch, or just because it's hot and you've earned it. We'll get it to you cold-room ready, any hour.
First sniff is all redcurrant and fresh peach with a squeeze of citrus on top. The sip is dry but never sharp, soft and round in the middle with white-fleshed fruit, a flash of candied orange peel, and this clean stony minerality underneath that keeps it elegant. The finish is fresh and lingers on a citrus note, so you reach for the next sip before you've decided to. Light on its feet, easy to love, grown-up.
The details
Pairs well with
Where it's from
Château Minuty sits in Gassin, right on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, looking over the gulf. The Matton family has run it since 1936 and it's one of only a handful of estates crowned a Classified Growth of the Côtes de Provence back in 1955, properly old-money Provence. That curvy 'corset flute' bottle was designed in-house and is now basically shorthand for summer on the French Riviera. M de Minuty is their signature pour, made from Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, fermented cool in steel to keep it crisp and fruity.
