The Story
The Glenlivet traces back to George Smith, who in 1824 took the first legal distilling licence in the valley that gave the whisky its name. Founder's Reserve is his namesake dram — a soft, fruit-forward Speyside matured partly in first-fill American oak for an unusually creamy, approachable style.
Pale gold. Nose of citrus and sweet orange; a palate of zesty orange, ripe pear, candy and toffee apple; long, creamy, smooth finish.
