Cellar master Michel Casavecchia blends eaux-de-vie from across the four crus and ages it across two very different cellars: one damp by the Charente River that builds roundness and floral lift, one dry that pulls out wood and spice. Marry the two and you get this. The brand itself is the newer chapter, launched in 2012 with Jay-Z behind it to shake up the old guard, and you'll spot the Cross of Lorraine stamped on every bottle.
