Low rainfall in winter and early budbreak.
Some winter freeze at the end of April caused some yield reduction. Occasional rains in summer and ideal conditions in August reduced water stress in the plant and led to an early harvest in September with small berries and perfect balance.

Aging: 12 months in American Oak barrels
ABV: 14.5%
Vinification
Grapes are harvested at phenolic ripeness and vinified according to Riojan tradition, including pre-fermentative maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation.
Food Pairing
Ideal for home-made dishes, stews and cheeses.
Serving Temperature: 16-18 degrees Celsius.
