Brokers Gin 1Ltr
Pour this over ice with tonic and you get exactly what a gin should be: a clean hit of pine-fresh juniper, a squeeze of citrus, and a warm little kick of spice on the finish. It's the no-drama, get-it-right gin. The kind you build a Martini on at midnight and a long G&T on a slow evening. Oh, and every bottle wears a tiny plastic bowler hat. We promise it's not just for the laughs, but it does earn one.
Crack the cap and it's juniper first, that crisp pine-and-green note that says proper London Dry. Behind it, bright orange and lemon peel lift everything, and then a quiet warmth rolls in from the cassia, cinnamon and nutmeg. Coriander gives it a gentle peppery edge. Ten botanicals in total, and none of them shout over the others. Smooth, dry, balanced, exactly where you want a benchmark gin to sit.
The details
Pairs well with
Where it's from
Broker's was started in 1998 by two English brothers, Martin and Andy Dawson, who wanted to make a classic London Dry and nothing trendy. It's distilled at Langley Distillery near Birmingham, a place with around 200 years of gin-making behind it, in a traditional copper pot still. The bowler-hat topper is a wink at the City of London stockbroker, hence the name. Old recipe, serious craft, cheeky bottle.
