Casamigos started as a private joke between mates. George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman kept ordering custom tequila for their own hangouts in Mexico until the distillery told them to just put a label on it. The name literally means "house of friends." It's made in the Jalisco Highlands from 100% Blue Weber agave, slow-roasted in brick ovens for around 72 hours and fermented far longer than most, which is a big part of why it drinks so soft.
