The Kumusha Sauvignon Blanc is from the Sondagskloof region that forms part of the Cape South Coast, South Africa. The vines are planted in mineral rich soils that are high in organic matter. The grapes are handpicked in the early morning, pressed and treated reductively to preserve freshness and safeguard the aromatics from the beginning of the process. The juice racked into settling tanks. After spontaneous fermentation and maturation on the lees for 4 months the result is a delicious white blend. It is well-balanced with hints of citrus notes as well as smoky lingering undertones.
