Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Merlot is a consistently red Australian wine with aromas of satsuma plums, ripe black cherries and hints of vanilla from American oak maturation. It has a rich, generous palate with fruity sweetness and spicy hints. The finish is lengthy and persistent.
The wine pairs well with chargrilled tuna, turkey, light red meats, pizza, tomato based pasta, mushrooms, beans, Italian spices and Chinese food.
A bit too light for my taste. Loses flavour and taste quickly
