The Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec is purple in color and just as the name suggests, contact with oak has softened and rounded this Mendoza Malbec. The nose offers up a jammy aroma with plum and black cherry notes and a touch of black pepper. The palate is soft and round with ripe, plum, berry and raisin character. Finishes spicy and full with chewy tannins. Best served with red meats, cheeses, mushrooms and Argentinian “asado”
