This politically named Zonnebloem Blanc De Blanc is a blend of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. It is clear with hints of green and sweet aroma of tropical passion fruit and guava. This is a medium-bodied blend with a revitalizing, fresh acidity, and a lot of fruity flavors such as sweet melon and guava with a lingering aftertaste. Gracefully enjoyed on its own, or with tomato-based pasta dishes, fresh salad, roast pork, chicken, and seafood.

The Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are collected from vineyards in the Stellenbosch, Darling and Malmesbury areas.
Grapes are harvested from mid-January to mid-February at a temperature between 21 degrees to 23 degrees celsius
The juice did not receive any skin contact and was fermented at 13 degrees Celsius. It was left on the lees for two weeks to impart depth of flavor
